MRI is the most accurate imaging test to diagnose wrist scaphoid fractures in hospital Emergency Department patients with no evidence of fracture on initial x-rays. If MRI is unavailable, CT is adequate to rule in scaphoid fractures, but inadequate for ruling out scaphoid fractures.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24380796?dopt=Abstract&otool=icamculib What is sexual harassment and abuse in sport?
- Sexual harassment and abuse in sport are forms of sex discrimination. They include unwanted, groomed or forced involvement in sexual behaviour, from use of offensive stereotypes based on your gender (gender harassment [see example below]) to sexual jokes, threats, intimidation, approaches or actions of a sexual nature - In settings where your rights are not acknowledged, or where you are not valued as an individual, it is more likely that sexual harassment and abuse will happen. http://www.olympic.org/sha It has been shown that simple advice is equally as effective as a more intense and comprehensive physiotherapy exercise program. The need to identify effective and affordable strategies to prevent and treat acute through to chronic whiplash associated disorders is an important health priority.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24703832?dopt=Abstract A hospital-based exercise class can produce a rapid recovery from a frozen shoulder with a minimum number of visits to the hospital and is more effective than individual physiotherapy or a home exercise program. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24630545?dopt=Abstract
Evidence from observational studies indicates inverse associations of circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D with risks of death due to cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other causes. Supplementation with vitamin D3 significantly reduces overall mortality among older adults; however, before any widespread supplementation, further investigations will be required to establish the optimal dose and duration and whether vitamin D3 and D2 have different effects on mortality risk.

Various individually targeted interventions were shown to reduce body weight, although effect sizes were typically modest, and the durability of effects has been questioned. New approaches to evaluating population-based interventions, such as taxes and regulation, are recommended. Future research modelling the long-term effects of interventions across the lifespan would also be beneficial.
