The STOP study is a research study. Interested smokers must call Region of Waterloo Public Health at (519) 575-4400 ext. 13039 to be screened over the phone to find out if they are eligible to attend the workshop. If a smoker is eligible they will be provided with workshop location details. The STOP study is conducted by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in partnership with Region of Waterloo Public Health. Funding is provided by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care as part of the Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy.
